InterviewConnect, Contexxa's innovative Web-based Visual Interview Solution, delivers a breakthrough solution to any organization seeking to improve the quality and cost efficiency of the candidate screening and selection process. The InterviewConnect solution enables the corporate employer to conduct virtual interviews, complete with text questions and streaming media, with a candidate located virtually anywhere in the world.
InterviewConnect captures the candidate's responses, both in text and in streaming media, as he or she responds to the interview questions in real-time. The resulting data files, representing the totality of the candidate's response to the interview, are uploaded to the server and can be accessed by any authorized user across the enterprise.
Contexxa's InterviewConnect solution provides the complete suite of tools needed to create, present, capture, review, and manage electronic interviews. The InterviewConnect application suite implements an enterprise-enabled streaming media architecture utilizing Microsoft's industry-standard MediaPlayer middleware components. This results in an advanced electronic interview system that can be deployed to any platform running the Windows operating system.
Core Components
The InterviewConnect!® Visual Interview Solution (VIS) is deployed as
an enterprise enabled, Web-based software application that can be accessed and
used from anywhere within the organization. The core components of
InterviewConnect!® VIS include the following modules:

System Administration Module
The Interview Creation Module is used to create the electronic
interview which is presented to the prospective job candidate. The Interview
Creation Module uses a simple, Web-based "point and click" interface
to build the electronic interview from a library of pre-recorded interview questions. Once the interview is built and approved, it can be
presented, via the Internet, to a candidate located anywhere in the world.
The Interview Presentation Module is used to present the electronic
interview to the prospective candidate and capture the results. This is
accomplished through a simple, easy to use Web-based interface. The
candidate’s responses to the interview questions are captured in full motion
digital video files, which are then uploaded to the VSI server. Once the
candidate’s responses have been uploaded, they can be viewed by any
authorized user in the organization.
The Interview Review and Evaluation Module is used to review the results of the interview and evaluate the candidate. The reviewer uses the simple, Web-based interface to review the candidate’s interview responses, view the resume, make notes, and/or record an evaluation. In addition, the reviewer can use this module to refer the entire interview, including the candidate's responses, to anyone with a valid e-mail
address.
The System Administration Module is used to manage and optimize the VIS
system. The comprehensive tools included in this module allow the system administrator to perform these important tasks with a minimum time requirement.
